Dr. Lindy Fields is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with deep expertise in aging, cognitive health, and brain functioning. She is passionate about helping individuals and families understand the “why” behind changes in memory, thinking, and behavior—and guiding them toward clear, science-backed next steps. Her work blends compassion with clarity, aiming to make neuropsychology approachable and empowering for those navigating cognitive concerns.

Clinical Background

Prior to founding Neuro Nebraska, Dr. Fields trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including:

  • Academic medical centers

  • Veterans Affairs (VA) medical system

  • Large healthcare systems and specialty clinics

  • Interdisciplinary teams in dementia, concussion, rehabilitation, movement disorders, and epilepsy care

Research & Thought Leadership

Dr. Fields' research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international conferences. She is also the founder of Brain Doc On Demand, where she offers corporate and community seminars on brain health and develops digital education programs that bring practical neuroscience into people’s everyday lives.

Outside the Clinic

Born and raised in Omaha, Dr. Fields is a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska—Go Huskers! Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, staying active outdoors, and finding joy in creative projects. She believes that movement, connection, and joy are vital for brain health—and strives to model that in her own life.
